This cigar box was decorated with Graphic 45 Papers and an old sewing pattern I had. For the places where the Graphic 45 paper is, I put the paper on first and then put the sewing pattern on over it using Collage Pauge by Traci Bautista. In the inside of it, I just used the sewing pattern. I spelled the word Dream using Idea-ology Type Charms. The corners and center piece was an order gift from Bonnie's Best Online Store And the skeleton key is from my stash.

Don't you just love all the goodies inside

I love cigar boxes because they are so sturdy. I'm working on one that will be entirely encased in bead embroidery. I love the papers you chose and the metal work on the front - it turned out great!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out awesome! Love the pattern over the G45, great effect. The embellishments are just right!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I may have to "borrow" your idea! ;o)
ReplyDeleteWowza,
ReplyDeleteanother collage pauge patina. Thanks for this discovery. I, ahem, have 'collected' sewing patterns for a while...guess it's time to use them... the box is awesome & the goodies look so happy all jumbled up together.
Those watch faces are sure nice. I got quite a few back in the day before they got popular. I'm sure they're pricey now. glad I'm well stocked, LOL! Thanks for showing the box.
Hugs,
Gorgeous, Nancy! I love the way the G45 paper looks under the dress pattern. What a cool idea! And one which I will be stealing shortly.
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't love to keep goodies in a box like that?
Eileen
