Boogie On

Well this has been a long time coming but I finally got a book done for my Full Tilt Boogie on-line class with Mary Ann Moss.     This is an incredible class and I highly recommend it.   What's nice about this online class is that you can go at your own pace and the videos are available  for a long time after the initial four weeks of  lessons are presented.

This is practice book #1  and I have practice book #2 started.        After I do a couple practice books, I will then do my vintage photo album.   Then I will go on to the next style of book.

In this particular book I used a children's book called Anne of Green Gable from a thrift store.  The binding strips are of fabric.   The pages are a combination of pages I received from my Remains of the Day page swap and some vintage papers I added.   I also added some heavy cardstock pages for the beginning of each signature so I did not have to glue the decorated swap pages together.   There are six signatures.

I hope you all have a great evening.   We are having monsoon rains and lots of wind.

  11. Wow, Nancy, your pages are fantastic, and I think I've said before how much I love the idea of using children's books in hand-bound books!

As for your giveaway, you're absolutely wonderful!! I don't own a Japanese screw punch, I've wanted one for years, and I could really use one for all the wonderful FTB books I've become addicted to making, as well as for a thousand other things! Please add my name to the draw! I have my fingers crossed and am thinking happy thoughts....XOXO
