Last year, I took a class from Tim Holtz in Phoenix. I had so much fun doing this bird. We used Ranger Dabbers to paint it and, of course, it had to be distressed with sand paper and Distress Inks. I love looking at him on one of my shelves in my art studio. And don't you just love the Vintage Phone that I purcased from Tim for this project.

Hi Nanc - found you via "All Things Tim" and just love your blog. I've now become a follower (would love you to follow me too please). I began one of these birds, didn't have the chance to do one with Tim, me being in the UK, but got Mario to send me one. Still in the proces of being made unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteYour papers are gorgeous - I love doing my own background papers too - grat stuff by Ranger to facilitate this.
Good Luck with your blogging.
